WELCOME HOSTS! Host2Host was created by hosts, for hosts to elevate the voice of independent, short-term rental hosts in three specific areas: Advocacy. Community. Education. Through ADVOCACY, we protect and advance our common interests. Through COMMUNITY, we strengthen our relationships with each other and with the people and businesses in our neighborhoods. Through EDUCATION, we learn from each other and raise our professional hospitality practices. Host2Host is an independent 501(c)6 nonprofit trade association. NE Portland Gary started hosting by renting guestrooms to relocating corporate executives, students, musicians, etc. after learning of someone else doing this. He quickly transitioned to the group market in 2014, initially with Flipkey/TripAdvisor before listing on Airbnb. His most memorable experiences include hosting a family potluck for 43 Iranians and hosting musician Kendrick Lamar and his band. |
